The picture above will always be a favorite of mine. Sugar and 3 of her daughters (Sochi, Trouble and Sassy) are the yellows and Valor and Pistol the 2 others. Time goes fast and the only one still with us Sochi, in the middle. She turns 10 in February 24

Unfortunately, the pairing didn't take but we've been offered another try.

In March of 2023 I spoke with Mr. Chad Baker regarding this breeding. He said he liked it and then challenged me with earning her Master Hunter title. I said I would be calling as soon as it was completed. I left a message for Chad and he called the morning of 7/21/2023. True to his word he confirmed and said... " This should be a fantastic pairing". We think so too!
Faith will and I will be putting our hard work to use soon. We are qualified and will run the 2023 Master National as long as she doesn't come into season between now and then.
Some exciting statistics were just published by the Master National Club recently. NAFC FC AFC Cody Cut A Lean Grade is the Sire of 33 offspring running the 2023 Master National In Thomasville GA next month. Grady is arguably the best producing Labrador of all time!
I had no idea of the history surrounding the locations and grounds that we ran the Master Nationals on. Our first 3 series of Flight D were held on famous Field Trialer Mike Lardy's grounds outside of Boston GA. It was very humbling thinking about it! Deboise property was where we ran our 4th series. The 5th although we didn't make it that far was a water series on the same property. It was beautiful!
Many of the top Field Trial Professionals stopped by to take a look at the difficulty of our first series. The one Peach ran so very well!

Below is a bit of info on him put together by others.
Grady is owned and loved by Chad and Paige Baker. At four months of age, Grady was running over 200 yards to a back pile and retrieving plenty of marks. At six months he went to Jim Van Engen's camp where he learned his basics and started his derby training. In the fall of 2005 Chad brought him home to run a few derbies. He racked up 26 points in 12 trials! That fall he also jammed his first Qualifier at 17 months and won a 48 dog Qualifier the next weekend. Grady returned to Jim's for winter training.
