We have BIG news here at BCR!!! This next week we will be taking our girl Trouble down to Americas Heartland Animal Clinic in North Platte. They will be performing a surgical procedure to impregnate her. We feel very privileged that we will be able to offer a rare outside litter of pups Sired by GRHRCH UH Duckdawg's Eba Roll The Dice. Puppies should arrive on or near Christmas . These pups will only be offered to certain types of homes so we will be selective. Preference will be given but not limited Hunt Test and Hunting Families. Give us a call if you'd be interested in this Extremely Rare opportunity to own a Dice DuckDawg!
Well the Dirty Dozen are all off to their new homes and families. We are getting posts and pictures daily from many of them and a few from " Not for the Faint of Heart " litter of Hank & Sugar as well.
We added Missouri, Wisconsin and Georgia to the list of States where Big Cottonwood pups reside. They join Arizona, Arkansas, New Mexico, Wyoming, Colorado, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota and of course Nebraska.
Please keep them coming as we really love seeing and hearing about their accomplishments. A few I know are headed for Apex Retrievers in Elm Creek and I'm excited to hear their reaction once in training.
Many of you know how close to keeping one of the Males we were but, we're just not ready facility wise to accommodate Stud dogs here full time.
As for the rest of the Pack, Sassy and T-rub took a road trip to Colorado for their eye Cerf this week with good results. T now shows signs of coming in to season ( Heat ). I've been spending a lot of time looking for suitors and have it narrowed down. We couldn't go wrong with another litter from Drake!
Litter announcement .....
The "Dirty Dozen" began arriving Friday July 15th in a hole recently excavated by Momma.
Don't worry it was only one and we noticed immediately. The other 11 arrived anywhere from 10pm to the we hours of the 16th. Everyone is doing well and Monday will make their first trip to town. The litter is split evenly with six boys and six girls. The girls color being a lighter shade of yellow or cream colored. Some would call them Champagne. Boys a bit darker but not much.
